KINGS GIRLS SEND TWO to STATE in 2008

At Fort Lewis Golf Course – par 72 - May 13, 2008

CONGRATULATIONS to the girls we took 3rd place at Bi-District and two of the girls qualified for State.  Yeri Lee 1st alternate and Hannah Kleffner 2nd alternate.  The score was lower this year....the score of 107 was the cut line.

High School: A 2000 graduate of King's High School in Edmonds, Wash.... was the runner-up at the 1999 U.S. Women's Amateur in Asheville, N.C.... has played in two U.S. Women's Opens... earned exemptions to play in the 2000 Nabisco Championship and the LPGA Safeco Classic in Seattle... won the 1999 Washington Women's Amateur... won two North Cascades Conference championships... also captured the 1999 WIAA state and district championships... 1998 AJGA Rolex All-American and an honorable-mention selection in 1999... 1999 Pacific Northwest Golf Association Amateur Player of the Year... earned the PNGA's junior player-of-the-year accolades the previous season... captured titles at the 1998 Orange Bowl International Junior Golf Championships, the Ping Junior Championships and the Polo Golf Junior Championships.
